Steel straps are the most durable and therefore the strongest strapping bands. However, they are also very expensive. Like textile straps, they are used for sharp-edged, very heavy, and hot goods. A major advantage of steel straps is that they withstand even the most extreme weather conditions. Steel straps also vary in quality. In addition to the standard grade strap, we also offer high-performance variants. These are characterized by a higher breaking strength (approx. 1,030 N/mm²) combined with higher elongation at break (approx. 12%).
