The glued polyester filament strapping (Hot Melt) is perfect for securing goods that experience volume loss. This is especially common in the wood industry and also with goods that have sensitive surfaces. The glued Hot Melt strap is re-tensionable, soft, and flexible. Its very high tensile strength and high elongation capacity are responsible for this premium quality. The Hot Melt adhesive creates a wax-like surface, providing excellent grip.
For sharp-edged packages, it is better to choose a woven PES (polyester) strapping.
