Y-Covers (S-COVERS) – Ideal for Manual Application
A Y-cover (also called an S-cover) is cross-sealed (unlike the side-gusseted cover) and folded into a Y-shape. Due to the top fold, four defined edges are formed, allowing the cover to be pulled tightly over the packed pallet. This way, the cover adapts much better to the shape of the goods than a conventional shrink hood.
When exposed to heat during the shrinking process, the film contracts and securely wraps the pallet and goods. This effectively protects the load from transport damage, moisture, dirt, or theft.

No “half-moon” formation at the pallet base
No dirt traps (“donkey ears”) on the top of the pallet
No leaky seams on the top, reducing the risk of moisture ingress
